Our main asset is our people, without whom Far East would not be where it is today, nor could it continue to remain as a market leader. We take utmost care to ensure that our workers are well compensated and that they have an excellent work environment. The workers are provided with free meals, in-house medical facility as well as a child-care facility.
With a total of 42 knitting machines FEKDIL has an average daily knitting capacity of 8.5 tons. Such knit products include ladies & gents T-Shirt, Tank Top, Jacket, Pajama, Jogger, and Hoodies.
With a total of 27 dyeing machines, FEKDIL has daily dyeing capacity of 17 tons. All fabric is enzyme washed and provisions for fluorescent dyeing. On-site Piece/Garment dyeing facilities are also provided.
Our laboratory is equipped with advanced and sophisticated lab equipment from USA, UK, Switzerland and China to ensure best possible quality and consistency in our processes.
Washing facility is equipped with state of the art laundry equipped with the latest machines for dry processes, and for various washing effects.
We attempt to design clothes which are functional as well as aesthetically pleasing. Our Design team do consider who is likely to wear and the situations in which it will be worn.
We have team of experts who are capable of delivering what we promise with utmost care, efficiency, and precise accuracy while making patterns and markers for sample or bulk production.
We have fully equipped Embroidery Section capable to meet our export demands for Embroidery.
Our printing facility is equipped most modern machines from USA, UK and Japan with latest technology.
Our Cutting department is equipped with highly sophisticated Auto Cutting and Manual Cutting Computer Aided Cutting Machines.
Currently 50 lines are active and 1550 Machine at FEKDIL, with a total of 1400 sewing machines. Machines include a variety of automatic and manual machines (plane, overlock, flat-bed, cylinder bed, two needle, etc.)
A qualified and highly trained team of professionals supervise the proper finishing of apparels in accordance with the customer’s requirements and code of conducts.
On the buyers’ end as well, FEKDIL has to conduct continuous marketing efforts. The buyers conduct regular audit in the factory in order to evaluate the operation, production process and other relevant policies. In addition, FEKDIL has to ensure strict compliance to the buyers’ requirements regarding environment, health and safety of the workers. Overall, almost every aspect of its business is highly monitored and controlled by the requirements set forth by the buyers.
We Fareast knitting and dyeing industries ltd Ltd have set a greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction target covering Scope 1 & 2 emissions in line with the latest criteria and recommendations of the SBTi which supports the ambition of the Paris Agreement in limiting global temperature rise to 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre- industrial levels. The baseline year is 2022, target year 2030 and emission reduction target 42%.
We Fareast knitting and dyeing industries Ltd have been working with one of our customers (global brand) to understand and address our Scope 3 emissions.
We confirm that the Tier 1 and Tier 2 manufacturing sites we contract with have set greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets covering the manufacturing sites Scope 1 & 2 emissions, in line with the criteria and recommendations of the SBTi.

Far East is very proud to partner with Operation Cleft, an international project of the Rotary Club of Box Hill Central, Australia and the Centre for Disability in Development, Bangladesh to fund and promote the provision of free surgeries for untreated cleft lip and palate to the poor of the country. Each year Operation Cleft completes about 1000 surgeries, of which approximately 300 are either funded directly by Far East or for which Far East helps to raise the money. In recognition of our contribution to the project, Operation Cleft has named our Managing Director as its patron for Bangladesh.
JAAGO Foundation is a Bangladesh based non-profit organization catering to the education needs of children from socially and economically disadvantaged background. Furthermore, the integration of numerous ‘Support Functions’ to the organization's core schooling program ensures the sustainable growth of the financially insolvent communities the beneficiary groups come from.
TVET Reform Project means Technical and Vocational Education and Training Reform Project of the ILO. IDLC finance, a non-banking financial institution, as part of its commitment to sustainable development through community empowerment, initiated a project jointly with FEKDIL and other Project Parties, targeting skills development and subsequent employment generation for the underprivileged people in the RMG sector.)
